Mass public gatherings like mass gatherings, social events (ex. Fiesta), public and/or private school activities, rallies and other similar activities and gatherings are currently suspended in Iloilo city due to CoVid 19 until further notice.
Signed just this afternoon by City Mayor Jerry Trenas and City Government Assistant Department Head Josephine Agudo, an executive order suspending all major public gatherings to reduce the risk and exposure of CoVid virus to the people.
As of yesterday March 10, 2020, DOH confirmed cases are now at 33, and the country is now under the state of public health emergency and alert system to code Red sublevel 1.
For the safety and protection of everyone, this is effective today until further notice.
Everyone is advised not to panic and be vigilant. Always practice handwashing, social distancing and as soon as you experience similar symptoms of CoVid go to the nearest hospital for check-up.
Prevention is always better than cure.
